One of my all time favorite holiday movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. I loved it as a kid (and still do) and now my kids love it too. These Jack The Pumpkin King Oreo Pops are the cutest Halloween (or Christmas) desserts ever!
I had snack duty for our girls Soccer and Softball Team so I wanted to give them something they would not forget and think is so cool. Well, everyone including the parents loved them. These would also be great for school parties and even your own Halloween party as little favors.
They may look a little intimidating to make but trust me they are pretty simple to make. You only need 3 ingredients and 3 supplies to complete these Jack The Pumpkin King Oreo Pops. I know you can do it! Give them a try and make sure you post your photos on Instagram and tag me in them so I can see your creations from my blog #eazypeazylemonsqueezee.

How To Make Jack The Pumpkin King Oreo Pops
First gather all your ingredients.
- 12 Oreos Cookies
- White Melting Chocolate (I like using Candiquik) OR 1 package of White Chocolate Chips & 2 teaspoons of coconut oil
- 12 Lollipop sticks
- 12 Pop favor bags
- Optional: Stand for drying pops (I like to use a cake pop stand), parchment paper or silicone baking mat
BLACK DECORATING ICING:
- Wilton Ready-to-Use Icing Tube Decorating with a standard coupler and tip #2 OR Wiltons Icing Writing Black Pen
Next, carefully break apart your Oreos. Set them aside.
If you are using melting chocolate like Candiquik, follow the directions on the package to melt the chocolate. If you are using white chocolate chips place them in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave the white chocolate chips in 15-second intervals until melted and smooth. Mix coconut oil into the white chocolate. Adding the coconut oil to the chocolate chips will help thin out the chocolate making it easier for you to dip the Oreo Pops.
Dip the lollipop stick into the melted chocolate.
Then place the chocolate coated stick in the middle of the Oreo with the frosting on it.
Then add the other side of the Oreo before the chocolate sets.
Let them dry completely before the next step. You can put them in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes to speed up the process.
After the lollipop sticks have set, you can dip the entire Oreo in your melted chocolate. Continually rotate the pop, letting the excess chocolate drip off. The chocolate will begin to set and stop dripping.
Place them on a stand to dry or if you do not have a cake pop stand then you can set them on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Decorate with Jacks face using a Wilton Ready-to-Use Icing Tube Decorating with a standard coupler and tip #2 OR Wiltons Icing Writing Black Pen. I was able to find the Wilton Ready-to-Use Icing Tube Decorating at my local Walmart store and the Wiltons Icing Writing Black Pen at my local Target Store. I already had the standard coupler and tip #2 but you can find that at your local craft store like Michael’s or Joann’s.
I first practiced pipping Jacks face a few times on parchment paper before I actually pipped it on the Oreo Pop.
Place the decorated pops in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to set.
Wrap with the Oreo Pops with the lollipop favor bags.
