This Easy Brown Butter Rice is a family favorite that has been passed down from my husbands Grandma. She has given this recipe to at least 100 people all over the US since 1952. You know that this means this recipe is that GOOD and it is a keeper. So make sure you save this recipe!
It is made with 3 simple ingredients; rice, butter, and beef consommé. So you know you won’t go breaking the banking making this side dish. Another great thing about this side dish is you can easily double it to feed a larger crowd.
Not only does this recipe require very few ingredients it is SUPER easy to make. First, you will brown the butter and then add the rice and beef consommé. Next, you let the stovetop do the work for you. Set it on a low simmer for about 35 to 45 minutes and BAM you have yourself a satisfying side dish.
It is pretty much a staple in our household. We make this dish quite regularly and also for holidays, parties, get-togethers, you name it it’s on the menu. Basically we make it ALL THE TIME! It is a prefect side dish for almost any dinner.
I love it! My husband and kids love it and I can guarantee your family will love it too.
