Christmas Reindeer Crack is a fun and festive recipe my family and I have been making every year for years during Christmas. The kids absolutely love it! It’s so easy and they love to help put everything together. No baking involved and you’ll have a finished dessert ready to eat within an hour. It’s a crunchy, sweet, and salty mix that’s so addicting!
WHAT INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE CHRISTMAS REINDEER CRACK
- Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers: You can also use Almond Bark or Chocolate Candy Coating.
- Pretzel: You can also use any type of pretzel you like.
- Peanut Butter: You can use your favorite brand of peanut butter or you could even use Biscoff Cookie Butter or Nutella spread.
- Rice Krispie Cereal: I like using the Christmas edition but regular is just fine. You could actually use any cereal you’d like.
- Mini Marshmallows
- M&M Candy: You can use any flavor M&M you’d like or even use Reeses Pieces candy.
WHAT SUPPLIES YOU NEED
- Big Mixing Bowl: For mixing all the goodies together.
- Spatula: You can also use a big spoon.
- Baking Pan: I love using Nordic brand for my baking needs.
- Silicone Mats or Parchment Paper: I prefer to use silicone mats that I get from Amazon.
- Cookie Scoop: I love using this large cookie scoop. You don’t need a cookie scoop. You can use a big spoon.
HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS REINDEER CRACK
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
In a big microwave safe bowl, melt the melting chocolate according to the package directions. I always heat in 15 to 30 second intervals, stir and repeat until the chocolate is fully melted. You want to avoid burning the chocolate. Be patient! The last thing you want to do is burn your chocolate. If this happens you’ll have to toss all the chocolate out and start fresh with a new package of melting chocolate.
Next, add 2 cups of pretzels and stir.
Then add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and stir.
Now add 2 cups of Rice Krispie cereal and stir.
Then add 1 cup of mini marshmallows and stir.
Finally add 1 cup M&M candy and stir. You want to make sure you move quickly as the chocolate will start to set.
Using a cookie scoop or large spoon, scoop mounds (you can do whatever size you desire) onto the parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. If you wanted to take it up a notch you can top off with sprinkles and/or edible glitter. Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes to set.
Ta-Da! All done! Super simple dessert!
Store in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to a week (if it last that long).
