Hey baking friends! My name is Tammie! I am a proud LEO spouse, a stay-at-home mom to our beautiful twin girls, and a self-taught baker and cake decorator.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. While I didn’t grow up in a household where cooking or baking was a daily ritual, I discovered my passion for baking while I was in college. During my college years, I met my future husband and earned a BS in Business Finance in 2006. Looking back, I sometimes wish I had gone to culinary school instead. After graduating, I took a corporate job at Safeway Corp but found joy in baking treats for my coworkers every Friday. They always seemed to love my creations—or at least that’s what they told me!
In 2009, I married my best friend, and two years later, we welcomed our twin baby girls into the world. Shortly after their birth, I decided to leave my corporate job to focus on my family. I missed baking for my coworkers, so I started baking for my husband’s workplace instead.
By 2019, with a bit more time on my hands as the girls got older, I decided to create a website featuring easy recipes. I built the website myself, and it became a platform where I shared my favorite recipes sourced from the web, cookbooks, and recommendations from friends and family. Many of the recipes on my website are “eazy peazy lemon squeezee,” as our daughters like to say. They are the inspiration behind my website and business name.
After launching my site, I obtained my business license and food cottage permit, even though I was still uncertain about my future path. Then in 2020, I started making cakes, and that’s when my business truly took off. I still don’t know what the future holds, but I am certain that baking will always be a part of it.
When I’m not baking, I enjoy working out at home (because of all the sweets, of course), cheering on our girls at soccer matches, going on date days and nights with my husband, having coffee dates with my mom, enjoying donut dates with our daughters, watching lots of movies and shows on the Food Network Channel, visiting Disneyland, camping, and indulging in Sprinkle Cupcakes!
I am simply loving life and am incredibly grateful for everything I have. Thank you all so much for your continued support. Whether you have purchased something from me, liked or shared my posts or website, worked with me, or just followed along on my baking journey, I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you so much for being here with me!
I hope you enjoy what you see here on my website and if you don’t want to miss out on the latest recipes or my custom cake availability make sure to Subscribe via email!
